Jamie Primeau, Director of Education and Special Needs Programs
amie has 10 years teaching experience in the field of Special Education, as a classroom teacher. Jamie received her Undergraduate degree in the area Cognitive Impairments as well as her Master’s Degree in Special Education with a concentration in Autism Spectrum Disorders. Jamie was lead teacher in a self-contained classroom for nine years.
During that time, she managed the success and growth of children with varying ages and impairments (i.e. children with autism, learning disabilities, cognitive impairments, speech and language impaired, Other Health Impaired etc.) During her tenth year, Jamie decided to switch roles and return as a part-time Resource Room teacher, in order to spend more time with her twin boys; Logan and Landon. Jamie has also recently celebrated 10 years of marriage with her loving husband David.
